Assigning and viewing work orders to teams

Modified on Wed, 23 Mar, 2022 at 2:32 PM

After finding the relevant work orders on the list, the work orders have to be assigned to the relevant teams - this is as simple as dragging the work order to the team:

After adding a work order to the timeline, a pop-up box will appear, which is the same window as editing an activity.

All work orders will still appear to be on the work order list. This way, a work order can be planned multiple times.
This functionality can e.g. be used to pre-plan tasks that take more than one working day. This way work orders with a long remaining duration will also be planned for multiple days in the scheduling. Please note, this can cause a work order to be planed twice by mistake.

Viewing work order information

By rolling over the specific work order in the plan, key information becomes visible. The key information will be visible in the timeline, in the work order itself and in the assigned asset. The work order ID, the estimated remaining time, team member assigned including skills with their expiration dates and the planned start- and end time will become visible as well.

When more information is needed, the task can be opened by clicking twice on it (or by using the pen icon in the list). The work order edit view will appear. Three editable tabs become available in general, planning information and activity information.

For changing or deleting Work orders, please see this article.

Warnings on activities

In case a yellow warning icon will be displayed on an activity, it indicates the following issues:

  • Skills of the assigned personnel have been expired
  • Skills that are required are missing
  • The correct number of required personnel is not assigned (either too few or too many)
