In order to add transportations that can be used for logistics planning, go to Resources and then to the Logistics tab and click the '+Add a new transport' button that will open a modal for adding new transportation.
In the modal that opens up, you are required to add (input fields change depending on the selected transport type):
- Name of transport
- Seat capacity
- Type of transport (dropdown)
- Onshore port (drop-down, defined in Account settings)
It is also possible to add more information:
Availability radio button: Gives you the option to change between 'Always available' or 'Use Work Schedules'. The latter enables you to take into account the work schedule and availability on the transport when planning - see more information below, or by clicking here.
Work package (If 'Always available' is selected)
Cruising speed
ID (e.g. the IMO number of a transport)
Current location
Certificates
Required skills
Required skill groups
Cost
Weather criteria
Fuel consumption
Activity durations
Use Work Schedules
If you select ' Use Work Schedules' then two more tabs appear ('Work Schedule' & 'Unavailability'):
Also 'Work package', 'Onshore port' will now be available on the work schedule, along with 'Current offshore base' and 'Current mother transport' instead of on the modal.

Here you can ' Add new work schedule':
Click 'Add new work schedule' and the 'Create work schedule' modal appears:
Unavailability tab
Here you can add ' Unavailability' (periods where the transport is not available)
Click ' Add unavailability' and the 'Create new unavailability' modal appears:
