 ✍️ You can now specify Work package on Activities and filter them when creating Timesheets, enabling you to select specific Work package(s) for Activities with Time registrations.  


✍️ Timesheets now auto-name based on date(s) and Work package(s), for added convenience.


✍️ A change has been made so that a Time registration can only be added to one Timesheet.

Notifications 

 

We have all new and fancy notifications! 

 

Technicians need to be alerted when a timesheet is rejected so that the right changes can be done quickly to get their salary.  

User can get now notifications when timesheets are sent for approval and when the status changes to approved or rejected. Notifications can be marked as read, clear and they will even guide you to the timesheet. 

 

Notifications settings in user settings for timesheets (on desktop) are on: 

  • User 1 (with or without manage timesheet permissions) creates timesheet and sends a timesheet for approval to another person with manage permissions. User 1 does NOT receive a notification. 

  • User 2 has manage timesheets permissions and a timesheets is sent to him/her. User 2 receives notification. 

  • User 3 has manage timesheets permissions and a timesheets is NOT sent to him/her (another person). User 3 does NOT receive notification. 

  • User 2 or 3 reject a timesheet. User 2 or 3 do NOT receive a notification. User 1 receives notification. 

  • User 4 is added to a timesheet sent for approval by User 1 and the timesheet is rejected. User 4 does NOT receive a notification. 

 

Notifications settings in user settings for timesheets (on desktop) are off: 

  • No notifications are sent 

 

 

 

 

 

Register time  

 

No overlapping time is registered.  

 

It is crucial to avoid double registered hours for companies not to overpay their employees.  

User can not register time at the same hours on the same day. 

 

 

 

 

Timesheet filter 

 

 

Timesheet filtering has been added.  

 

Users will only see timesheets made by themselves and/or sent to themselves for approval to improve data and approval management. 

 

 

 

Log in

User can now choose to see their password while login in minimising the risk of failing to get into the app in the first try.

Edit timesheet 

 

  • Edit timesheet: We are excited to introduce Timesheet edit capabilities, where you can update timesheet based on a date range, - for yourself and personnel you have permission to ‘Register time for’. 

  • Edit time entry from timesheet: You can now edit date and time of a time entry from a timesheet. 

  • Remove time entry from timesheet: You can now remove a time entry from a timesheet. 

  • Re-add time entry to timesheet: You can re-add a time entry to the timesheet that was removed from a timesheet. 

  • View locked timesheet: You can now view information from a locked timesheet. 

  • Full names in timesheet header: View full name of the breakdown per personnel of how many hours have been registered against which activities. 

The above functionality is only available whilst you are Online. 

 

 

Activities 

 

Create activity and register time for 7 days past and future from today’s day 

 

Resource managers can now make sure that their technicians will only create activities and register time no longer than 7 days in the past and future from the current date. This minimises human error and improves control over payslips. 

 

 

Personnel 

 

Most recent personnel used in personnel lists 

 

Team leads need to be efficient in the field and not worry about finding the right name to assign to an activity or register time.  

Shoreline solution brings the ability to select your most recent personnel used when creating activities, registering time, and creating timesheets to facilitate accuracy and reduce searching time.

  • View timesheet details: View total hours per personnel and a breakdown per personnel of how many hours have been registered against which activities.
  • Submit timesheet: Timesheets can be sent for approval to personnel who have permission to Manage timesheets.
  • Delete timesheet: Draft timesheets can be deleted by personnel with Delete permission on the Work Order module.

  • Lock / Unlock Activity: We've added the ability to lock and unlock activities, ensuring data integrity and preventing accidental modifications.
  • Minutes Picker by 15-minute interval: You now have more precise control when selecting time intervals, making scheduling activities and time registration more convenient.
  • Work Package set for an Activity (behind the scenes): The work package will be set on an Activity where a work order is selected that has a work package associated with it, ensuring the activity will get returned for the work package filter in the Timesheets module on the web.
  • Work Orders ordered by A-Z (in the drop-down): Easily find and select work orders in an intuitive alphabetical order within the drop-down menu.
  • New drop-downs with type-ahead search: The enhanced drop-downs with type-ahead search, make it quicker and easier to find the item in the list you’re looking for.
  • Improved App data storage: We've revamped our data storage to:
    • Keep users logged in when closing the app, saving you time on repeated logins.
    • Retain unsynchronised data even if the app is unexpectedly "killed," ensuring your work is never lost.
  • User Interface improvements throughout the App: Enjoy a more polished and intuitive user interface, enhancing your overall app experience.
  • Bug fixes: We have addressed various bugs and issues, ensuring a smoother and more reliable app.
