Dashboard - Work order progress

The dashboard view allows you to get an overview of all relevant data in one place without navigating through the entire system. Today, we have different dashboard views (“widgets”) available: My activities, Data dashboard, Site overview, Weather, Components and Asset info.

Select Dashboard and the view of interest.

Work order progress widget shows each asset with all corresponding work order sequences or without a sequence, and the progress of each. To have this dashboard view available, you must first select a sequence and track against them. Status is listed as % completion. When an item is marked as ‘done’, it will appear as 100% and will list the date of completion.

Progress status bar e.g.: If you have 10 work orders on Asset A, four are 100% and one are 50% you would get progress = (4 * 100% + 1 * 50% + 5 * 0%) / 10 = 45% overall progress.

 You can also filter this view by 'work order type' and 'work package'.

There is an option in the progress dashboard widget that will show the status of Work Orders that are not associated with sequences. To utilise this feature, select ‘Work orders without sequences’ in the progress dashboard. 

The following example shows that the tool can also show the status of work orders without a sequence. The same information is provided accordingly to the assets assigned to these work orders and the work order name is shown in the cell.

There is a header row on the progress dashboard widget that gives users vital information pertaining to the work orders on each of the assets on their account. The Summary Row will show one of the 3 options as selected by the user:

1. Hours spent: This option will expose the total hours spent on all work orders on an asset. This will be determined by any filter applied to the dashboard.
2. Hours remaining: This option will expose the total hours spent on all work orders on an asset. This will be determined by any filter applied to the dashboard.
3. Open work orders: This option will expose the total number of open work orders on an asset.

To utilise these options, navigate to the gear icon at the top right of the dashboard widget and select one of the options above.

The user also has an option to select a work order type to limit the results. This will not filter the dashboard by work order type but ONLY the total sum row.

The dashboard view can change based on the filter options directly on the page.

• A category selection has been added. Those are defined and used on the Activity Summary widget. Selected per work order.
• The total sum of activity has been added on each work order.
• Pagination has been added - there are 10 items per page.
• The explanation of the colours is below the table.
• Search for the asset by name.

While scrolling down on the work orders, the asset information is static, so you always know exactly which asset you are looking at - if you have selected a sequence, the sequence information will also be static when scrolling sideways.

You can adjust each column's width to display any length of text by clicking and dragging the column edge.
